Chicken Festival

Join the Historic Village in Ocean View as we recreate a half-day event celebrating the original Delmarva Chicken Festival, a popular local tradition for decades. Memorial Day Ceremony

The American Legion Post 5 will sponsor the Annual Memorial Ceremony at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand beginning promptly at 11 a.m. Join us to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Louis Comfort Tiffany Exhibit at the Delaware Art Museum

A celebration of beauty, Louis Comfort Tiffany: Treasures from the Driehaus Collection features more than 60 objects, spanning over 30 years of Tiffany’s prolific career. The exhibition showcases Tiffany’s innovative work in leaded and blown glass, including stellar examples of his famous windows, lamps, and vases. This exhibition revels in the artistry and craftsmanship of the Tiffany artworks from Chicago’s distinguished Richard H. Driehaus Collection, highlighting masterworks in a comprehensive exhibition. Chicken Chase 5K / 1 Mile

Take part in the first annual Chicken Chase, benefitting the University of Delaware! Old Timer's Day

Travel back in time as we celebrate tradition and the classics. Now in its 65th year, vehicles from 1992 and earlier line Church Street in Selbyville for their shot at "Best in Show" while socializing with other classic fanatics. 31st Annual Lewes Garden Tour

The Lewes Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau sponsors its 31st annual Lewes Garden Tour. There are 9 private gardens on the tour this year. Tickets will be available for sale on Friday, May 27 and will include a description of each garden. In addition to touring the gardens, the event includes a Garden Market in Zwaanendael Park with vendors selling garden related items during the hours of the tour and a food tent in Zwaanendael Park from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. selling lunch and cold beverages by Full Belly Bistro.
